  1. feeding him/her tuna or tuna juice from a can would be smart....DO NOT FEED HIM/HER MILK... its not good for any other animal but cows... water is smart... i think he/she will be ok if you do this...

    hope this helps!!

  2. Go get Kitten food... dont feed it table food it will get use to it and people food will make it sick ><

  3. well the water and ham should be good till you get the food.

  4. Purina Kitten chow.

I'm pretty sure ham and water will do for tonight (don't make it a daily thing).

Make sure you go out and buy that kitten chow tomorrow.

  5. if you have some fish food in your cupboard,ie tuna, salmon,or pilchards give them a bit.or some chicken..they should be something in your cupboard the kitten will eat..

  6. It depends on how old the kitten is.  However true that they have been wild animals that we have domesticated for thousands of years, so that they should be able to eat meat (carnivores).

It just depends on how old the little guy\girl is.

I would stop what I was doing right now and get to the store, as taking care of an animal is your first responsibility as they don't have a voice.

If you can update with more details, I think you'd get some better answers.

Milk alone is not good at all for kittens.  Kitten chow is good, but water it down with the canned milk they sell for kittens and mush it up with a fork.

It doesn't sound too young, so kitten chow would be my choice.

  7. If you have some chicken, boil it for her. Unseasoned chicken broth is good too.  ham is a bit fatty to be good for her so if you have turkey, chicken, or some lean meat that will do. She needs a high-quality kitten food when you get to the store.  Here's a guide to choosing a good, nutritional food for your kitty.

Tuna juice is ok but not tuna. It contains high levels of mercury which is very bad for your cat. Dry food does not clean cat's teeth.

  8. never feed ham to baby animals - it is full of salt/fat and can cause diahrreah. If your kitten develops diahrreah please call the vet as they dehydrate quickly. Cows milk can do that also so do not try.

If you have any mince or meat of any kind then a tiny bit of that, or even a chicken wing that you bash with a rolling pin/mallet. If not then grabbed some tinned fish (in water or rinse it if it is in brine/oil) and mix with a tiny bit of boiled white rice.

Baby kittens should not go more then a few hours without food so make sure you leave a good quality kitten dry food out all the time.

  9. no matter what people say, the fact of the matter is if a cat can survive on any meat in the wild it can also do so in captivity. i feed them whatever i eat and no it has not died or gotten sick from it. and when i give them cat food they still prefer some of what i eat too. i fed mine frankfurters or sausages in the morning when i had no cat food, and saved what ever piece of meat was cooked that day for dinner for it. and believe it or not, when my cat drank too much tuna/ sardine oil one day and kept vomiting, all i did was give it some warm mint tea and he felt better lol. and whenever he gets tummy aches it still works - got me wondering if he's actually human too...

  10. Tuna if you have any.

A little bit of ham will be ok, just make sure you get kitten food asap.

Try to stay away from wet food (can).

Wet/can cat food is good to give as a treat maybe once a week.

Very high in calories and not good for their teeth.  They need dry food to keep the tartar to a minimum.

Make sure you get her fixed and all her shots.  Take her to the vet within a week to make sure she has no worms or ear mites.

    :-)

  11. try kitten food, but check the ingredients for ash, if ash is in it dont feed your cat the food, the ash is cremated pets.  ew....

  12. Now why would you get a kitten before you were ready for it? You need to get some kitten food tomorrow first thing. I know people don't like to give cats milk, but a little for now won't hurt. If you have some tuna that will work too. Only for this evening, their little tummy's aren't ready for big cat foods.
