I am not familiar with the psychology course and don't know whether it's going to be even harder. My french average by the end of grade 10 was 76%.

  1. If you took French for 2 years, you're in great shape, so you could end it. I'm also a junior, and decided to stop taking a foreign language after sophmore year, so if I were you, I'd take psychology, and it is so far a great course. Hope you get in.

  2. I'm Taking French my first hour. but I'm also taking psychology, its a great class. you should take it.

  3. Ask yourself this important question did you like doing French when you did it?  Secondly Do you wish to know more about your self and what makes you tick?  Do Psychology if you are answering the second question truthfully.  Otherwise, it depends on what you want to do with your life.  What kind of work do you wish to do?  Nearly every job now requires a language it makes you more marketable.  If you want to be a teacher, a psychologist, psychiatrist then you definitely need psychology.  Put down a list of careers you wish to pursue, research the different careers and weigh the pros and cons of each and if any of the careers you have chosen require French or Psychology you have answered your own question.   I did both,  I am a French teacher.

  4. I was faced with the same decision as you were just a few weeks ago when I was deciding whether to take French or Psych. Although I would love to take Psychology, I knew it would require a lot more work than French (especially since I am more familiar to French than Psych) so I decided to take French. Good luck!

  5. Take psychology. It's a really good course. I loved it when i took it in grade 11. You'll enjoy it too.. It's mostly debates in the class going on and other meaningful stuff..my teacher and class were the best. I really had a great time and so would you..TAKE IT!

  6. if you NEED another year of french for an advanced diploma or whatever diploma you are going for then id take french, but if you have done all you need for french and just dont know which you would rather take, take psychology, its somewhat easy and interesting as well. I stopped taking german after 2 years and got the regular diploma, i wish i would have stayed in for the advanced diploma, hope i helped you with your decision, just give it some thought for the next few days.
