I don't know which end is up, what can I do? I am too stressed out!

Hi. My mom asked me to post this question because my brother is leaving to go to collage in eight days, we are half packed up and half not because we are moving, and to top it all off are house is a DISASTER!! my mom does not know what to do first all she wants to do is go outside and read but she can't because of all is happening. Any suggestions?

You all do have several large projects going on. She needs allot of help right now, and that's where you and your big brother come in. She cannot do it all by herself, so you all, MUST work together on this. If your brothers school starts before you have to move, then find and pack all his things for college. Once that is out of the way, start to get every thing ready for the move. You need boxes, and lots of them, and a big Sharpie Marker. Once you have the boxes, put all the small things from each room in a box, try not to mix rooms in one box. Then mark on the box what room this box is for. When the rooms are all boxed up, then the other thing is to start taking the boxes and furniture to the new place. It's allot of work, but with everyone helping, it's much easier. If you have friends and relatives, maybe they can help too!

Is it possible to move some stuff to your new place. That way you can see some progress. Are you taking everything? If not put it on the curb and put a FREE posting up on craigslist. It will go fast. Something about the word FREE that people love.

This is not a maintenance and repair question, this is a family problem.  Your Mom is in some sort of denial.  You're moving and all she wants to do is go outside and read?  That's an escape method.

She needs a good talking to.
