  1. Well we have lots of cows which eat grass maybe you can share the meal with them  :)

  2. The fries from McDonalds Burger King KFC are vegetarian but you can try Brezeln too..but can you explain what Saukraut is? Pigcabbage?

  3. Definitely.  If you look around, you can find several vegetarian restaurants, especially if you're in a big city.  I've been here for a month now and have only eaten sauerkraut twice, and neither of those were in a restaurant.  Their asparagus is very good here, and I've noticed that just in general all of the vegetables here seem fresher.  There are also plenty of noodle and potato dishes around.  I don't know if you speak german, but some key words would be kartoffel (potato), salat (salad), k***t (cabbage), spargel (asparagus), and vegetarisch (vegetarian).  I've noticed several vegetarian japanese restaurants in Berlin.

  4. Not to destroy your image of Germany, but: It's a rumor that we only got Sauerkraut...

You might not get Sweet Potatoes at every Aldis, but you'll get around quite fine I'll guess...

We got about everything you might need...

I know that the impressions you might have are definitely different than what will expect you here and one thing is for sure: We are definitely not too much estranged nowadays... Unfortunately this leads our population to get fat as well and our credit cards to become a problem as well... but other than that...

  5. smile  yes of course .... almost every restaurant has got vegetarian dishes; even McDonalds

  6. We have so much food for vegetarians, we sell it !!! lol

You cat eat much healthier than in the US.

Trust me-I live here and I travel in the US since over 30 years.

  7. i guess we have more food for vegetarians than meat addicted US americans..
