  1. we all soemtimes dont like some issues but got to do it, brushing teeth isnt only to keep them white, but to keep them healthy, or cavities will develop, will need lot of work to treat them if u would need root canal (wish no one needs it), it will be so annoying as it takes several visits, and costs lot of money, its easier to brush ur teeth than to get in this dilema

  2. Forget brushing to make them white. They'll rot and fall out! I can't believe this question in this day and age in this country. You need to brush at a minimum, bare minimum, once a day before going to bed. You need to do it properly too. None of this 15 second stuff. All surfaces, lightly scrubbed for 2 minutes total using a modern toothpaste. Twice a day, morning and night is even better. I do three times a day, but I know some people can't do that. Ask your dentist ( I HOPE you have one!) if chewing the new chewing gums on the market that strengthen teeth are a good idea. I hope you change your mind about this. It's very sad....really.

  3. When you don't brush your teeth, food and other particles build up on them and under the gums.  Then bacteria settle on this buildup, which causes infection and inflammation.  The bacteria also release acid, which dissolves your teeth and rots them away.  Infection and inflammation can also affect your bone, causing it to resorb or even form cysts.  If you feel like brushing your teeth is a waste of time, google some pictures of people who don't and put them on the mirror in your bathroom.

There is no substitute for brushing and flossing your teeth.  If you aren't willing to do this, then you should consider having all your teeth removed early to prevent infection that leads to bone loss, since if you lose too much bone your dentures are less likely to fit well.  You may not like brushing your teeth, but I doubt that you would enjoy having dentures either--Although it would solve your problem.

  4. It's not a waste of time, trust me! Ive gotten compliments when I was little and now all through my adolescent years on how white my teeth are, because I always brushed them, and its paid off.

Just brush them sometime in the morning when you're not doing anything, and you're bored, and same for sometime at night.

No other way, really. And even whitening strips aren't what will help. Your gums can become infected, and even with whitening strips, its just to whiten your teeth, it doesn't get any of the bacteria and plaque that builds up on, around and on your gums off, like a toothbrush does if you were to brush.

    So just brush your teeth!

..Or maybe, to help you, get your parents to give you like a quarter for each time you brush your teeth, so that way maybe you'll have a reason to brush your teeth everyday!

    Hope this helps.

  5. First of all, there are many things in life that you may not WANT to do, but have to do it anyway. (like work, pay taxes, get vaccinations, etc.)

Brushing your teeth is much more than having a pretty white smile.  The main reason to brush your teeth is to get rid of the plaque, which if left on the teeth will turn to tartar and cavities.

Plaque is a sticky substance that forms on your teeth, especially after eating carbohydrate rich foods.  The natural bacteria in your mouth thrives on plaque and produces acids in the process that lead to decay and gum disease.

Brushing your teeth is a matter of hygiene.  As is flossing.  No one likes to do it, but if you want a healthy mouth, it is quite necessary.

  6. No magic here;;; You do not even need to use toothpaste! But you have to clean the gunk off of your teeth gums and tongue right after you eat.  Otherwise that stuff accumulates, harder than cement, and only grinding can get it off!  Simple as that.

If you do not see a dentist, ask an older person to show you his dentures. You will plainly see the deposits.

It has nothing at all to do with your genes or whether or not you want to clean your teeth and tongue and gums.  It is nature and your gums will recede and you will lose your teeth after a long time and with much misery and expense along the way. The opposite s*x does not care for your bad breath while your teeth and gums are rotting out of your ignorant head along the way!  None of this has much to do with whitening  -- except that a dentist will probably not whiten your teeth unless you have a healthy mouth in the first place.

  7. Really?  A waste of time?  Are you sure?  Tooth abscesses and gum or bone infections are one of the most painful afflictions there is.  You don't want to know the agonizing pain.

Periodontal disease from lack of oral hygiene.
