I don't like republicans, but I think Mc Cain made a good choice in choosing Palin as her running mate?

I think that all the women voters that were put off by Obama not picking Clinton as his vp McCain will take those votes am I wrong or will it be the same as Walter Mondale running with Geraldine Ferrrara

I agree that McCain made a good choice, for the democrats. The debate on foreign policy between Biden and Palin will be like a heavyweight boxer versus a flyweight. Biden will have to pull his punches, so as not to appear to be a bully. It will be embarrassing to watch.

The risk to McCain is that the world will now learn that "cleaning out corruption" was really a woman backstabbing her way to the top.

And then using her power to meddle in her sister's divorce.

The woman has qualities undesirable to a nation that no longer tolerates political tomfoolery.

It seems McCain is trying to pick up the Hillary voters with a "token" female VP.  If I was Sarah I would be insulted and turn down the offer.  Women are not "tokens."  I wouldn't vote for Hillary just because she was female.  I vote based on the viewpoint and goals of the politician.  I really hope women don't fall for it, but it looks like they are.  Sad day for America.

We shall see, Palin has made a nice initial impression but she's been flying under the radar being in Alaska. Obama, McCain, Biden have been under intense media scrutiny for the past 2 years.

Lets see how she holds up after having a microscope pointed up the rear end for about a month.

Also it seems they are not giving women much credit of having much sense to think the Clinton voters will flock just because she's a female. She's pro life and some women democrats will definitely have a problem with that.

Why can't you see that this McCain is a misogynistic pig and he does not respect a woman, any woman at all. That Botox Barbie he has running with him now is there because he feels that he will be able to walk all over her. Well, Palin started off her acceptance speech by telling big lies.  The "independence" she touts about using Alaskan oil does not exist.

There is "sour" oil in Alaska, and we sell it mostly to Asia and other countries. Our refineries use the "sweet" oil from THE MIDDLE EAST HERE to make auto gasoline.

She knows that most people don't know the difference and is playing us for fools.

And oh yes, Mc Cain believes that one woman can be changed for another so if you liked Clinton, you will like Palin.  What is the difference?  They are only women.

If Hilary would have been the democratic nominee then i would have been voting 3rd party in this election.  I'm very glad that it was Obama and not her.  I would hope that Hilary-supporters can look past everything and vote for someone who actually has the same values as her...in other words Obama.  Palin is so far right-wing I don't see why any Hilary supporters would vote for her.  You do realize she's anti-g*y marriage and anti-choice, right?
