I think you might be a little confused.

Hao Lo Prison or the infamous Hanoi Hilton, a French-built prison where the Vietnamese had learned first-hand the intricacies of torture.

Hao Lo Prison was in Vietnam, after the Vietnam War, not the Korean War.

This is the same place Senator McCain was a POW for 5 1/2 years.

Prisoners were brutally beaten and tortured there but I don't know of mind control experiments per se.
