That really pissed me off. She was one of the few I liked/respected when it came to the actresses of Hollywood. Wtf was that about? She could of handled that very differently, note the odd silence at the end. Btw ananas means pineapples in french and I'm thinking she is saying that in reference to the guy not being of "high income" like her. What do you guys say about her all of the sudden ***** response?

All celebrities after being in that lifestyle get the "I art holier than thou" or the "my **** doesn't stink" attitude. Its a fact of life. All celebrities become a******s at one point in their lives ( and most remain that way with few exceptions). "Absolute power corrupts absolutely." Money does the same thing.

I think she took it pretty well actually. They guy was being an idiot and even when she made it clear she wasn't interested he kept pushing it. I would have been done with him when he said "What side of the bed do you sleep on." Seriously, she goes to this thing to do whatever she was there to do and some goofball she doesn't know asks her to marry him?

She did say he was sweet at first...maybe that was her mistake.

You seem to have things confused. That was a press conference and Charlize was there to promote a movie that she as an actress devoted much time and energy to. She takes her job very seriously and selling the film is part of her responsibility. The journalist was out of line acting like a star struck fool, he was unprofessional and should have been removed. Usually all questions intended to be asked by journalists are screened as stars do not like to talk about their private lives and who can blame them as that is not connected to promoting a film. I feel she reacted well considering how rude and unprofessional he was and she had every right to have him kicked out or smack him one.

I don't know who she is but the way she acted was very childish and shallow. I can see if maybe she was caught on the spot and felt centered but that's still no reason to act inappropriate like that in such a rude manner. He literally proposed to her and not only did she say no but she also said some unnecessary things on how her boyfriend will "kill him." Come on, that's so impolite of her, they're both wrong on their parts him for asking a dumb question (unless he was serious) and her for her disrespectful answer. Especially when she literally insulted his salary, she was way out of line there.

Hrm I would of felt disrespected when he asked that question also but why the responses with how rich are you? And statements like my boyfriend will kill you? That was unnecessary! Stars have people proposing to them all the time and most just brush it off with a smile and saying something along the lines of "I'm flattered but i'm taken". Even after the first response she shot back at him he quickly said "ok, im sorry" and even at another point saying "God bless me, sorry". I even read somewhere that ananas is slang for "f*ck you" but hey who knows. She completely overreacted and put her big fat foot in her mouth.
