It comes out as a little amount, with some little hard chunks and some little pieces, almost like diarrhea. My diet lately has been consisting of A) Grapefruit B) Bananas C) Chicken D) Fish E) Peanut Butter and F) Greens of any kind. I also go to the gym for 1 hour and 15 minutes 6 days a week. Could it be that my body is absorbing almost all of my food that I am eating and that I have such little that isn't needed by my body because of going to the gym, that it comes out as such small amounts every time? Or do I need help?

  1. You probably need more fiber to create bulk. Eat something like a whole grain cereal or oatmeal which are both high in fiber.

  2. get a fiber mix, its like juice when u mix it with water. it makes u go regularly. try to find one at walmart.

  3. eat more fiber otherwise check with the doctor

  4. try eating an apple with the skin, instead of a banana. try bing cherries or dried plums, instead of the grapefruit. instead of the peanut butter, eat unsalted peanuts or raw almonds. for greens, eat celery, broccoli or green peas. eat a steak instead of chicken or fish.  and drink LOTS of water. you are currently eating a very low fiber diet.  the exercise helps move the bowels, but you aren't eating enough fiber to clean yourself out.

you sound like you care about your health, and you sound like you are willing to make lifestyle changes to keep yourself in the best of health.  stay away from fiber drinks and stool softeners.

  5. What you eat seems very nutritious, but remember your body benefits from all sorts of foods. Try adding more/different kinds of fruits/vegetables and fiber (rice, bran, etc.). When you are eating right you shouldn't have any problems with bowel movements. Exercise helps your body efficiently process foods/bowel movements, but drink water. Good luck
