my 7-week-old son calms right down and falls asleep when i sing the opening theme from "rocky horror picture show" or the boys' death theme from "venture brothers" final season 1 episode.  so maybe start watching some netflix until you hear something you like?

You can get really cheap nursery rhyme books and then as your baby grows you can read them to him or her and show the pictures...they love books even from tiny...I get a lot from charity shops...

Also you may want to consider buying a lullaby cd/ nursery rhymes cd or book. They are pretty reasonably priced and can make a great keepsake for your little one.
