Question:

I don't think it's athlete's foot?

I haven't worn socks and shoes in months, I've spent the past 5 or 6 months in flip flops. So I doubt the build up of moisture. But, under a toe on both of my feet the skin is split, and it has a stinging, burning, sore sensation. Everything I've read about athlete's foot says it's more of an itching, and flaking skin. I don't have either of those symptoms. What could this be? I'd like to avoid going to the podiatrist seeing as how I don't have health insurance. I'd prefer to find something over the counter. Any suggestions?

  1. I once had that problem and I decided to experiment with my own remedies. When everything else failed, I used rubbing alcohol and I never had that problem again. I was about 8 or 9 I'm 24 now
