My family and me are sunnis. I was telling my parents about a muslim girl beaten to death in saudi arabia or something, because she was talking to a boy, then my dad said "It must have been those shias that killed her."

  1. If someone other than a Muslim said this, it would be racial profiling.  I think it is racial profiling anyway.

  2. salam,

with all due respect, from what you've written it seems like you and your family have no idea about the s**+'as and are just another Muslim making a judgement about a whole group of Muslims with no knowledge whatsoever. Let me shed a little light on what you've said.

Saudi Arabia is ruled and controlled by sunni Muslims. In saudi Arabia, s**+'as are prosecuted for being s**+'a, they are exhiled for being s**+'a, they are killed for being s**+'a. Any lasting s**+'i who is still in Saudi Arabia, lives his/her life without being active at all, without any freedom of expression. so for you to actually think that a s**+'i would do this is the epitomy of ignorance. In reality, if you ask anyone with sense and honesty, they will tell you that it is most likely that the extremist wahhabis, claiming to be sunnis, who murdered the girl (if indeed this story is true).

Please, educate yourself before you speak about something like this.

  3. It's not bad to dislike Shiaism, many Muslims do, but what he said wasn't good. Just because he doesn't like a particular group doesn't necessarily mean that they carried out the act.

  4. although i dont know anything about islam, maybe he's trying to say that shias are so extreme in their beliefs thats why they killed the girl.  thats how i understood his statement.

  5. "It must have been those sunnis that killed her."

    Thank God I'm a Shia

  6. Me and your father would get on...

    High-Five  ^ Shakila's dad...

EDIT: I love your cheeky (additional) comment at the end. lol

  7. Well that's a little racist. I'm presonally sick of people bashing s**+'as and people bashing sunnis. Forget what he said. You worry about you and when you pray, pray for the sake of the entire ummah, not just a particular sect. Maybe you can set a good example.
