Is it just getting 2 degrees at the same time? ... But, then I'll have SO many classes to finish my degree... I don't understand how people double major.

  1. My step sister had a double major one in International Banking and Finance and the other major was in Biochemistry.  When you have a double major you must complete the requirements for both majors in order to gradutate.  depending on what you double major in some of the classes would count for both.

Although she did graduate not only with Honors but Summa *** Lauda she had no social life because of all the chem classes she had to take.

  2. you take classes in two different disciplines that fit the requirements for two majors. in most schools this isn't that hard since they require you to tkae classes in various subjects anyway

  3. Yes, basically.

In the UK it's very common, but it's called doing a 'joint honours'.

I'm not sure how you must do it in the US though, when there are requirements for other subjects. In the UK, we only mostly study what we're 'majoring' in (except we don't do majoring and minoring like that, we just do a degree in a specific subject and only study that).
