I don't understand WWE, why?

Question

Why do they make storylines with Superstars making them out to be unstoppable and dominant and when they do finally have a loss behind them they suddenly become jobbers or not so dominant. I'm sure this will happen with Kozlov, I know it happened with Umaga, but this week on RAW made me sick watching Batista and Paul Burchill. I'm not a huge fan of either guys, but I don;t dislike them either, but when Paul Burchill returned to WWE with Katie Lea in toe he became a dominant mid carder with IC title shots, since his loss to Kofi for the title he has not done much and was made to look stupid against Batista plus did not have Katie Lea come out with him, I know she was in a match after, but that never stopped them before.

So do you think Paul Burchill and Katie Lea are now going to be jobbers, I know Paul is not gonna ever make Main Event, but I'm sure he could have at least put up a fight against Batista?

Thats true umaga used to beat everybody from jobbers like highlanders

to superheavyweights like kane and all of a sudden he loses to john cena thats BS!!!

dude he put on a good fight any way don't worry about it. did u see kane he made batista's spinebuster and spear look like nothing after he got up one second later (later on the show). i think paul burchil,kofi,d-lo and santino will have a fatal 4 way match for the ic title. every one jobs once in a while. don't u remeber how they made alshely job to umaga once? as for katie lee she can feud with beth pheonix becasue obviously she's the only wrestler who could actually wrestle and i hope she wins it because she deserves it.

but they had Kane lose to umaga ..when umaga was unstoppable..

I see what your talking about.  Paul seemed like he was suppose to be one of the tough ones.  Then when he had that match againts Batista it made him look like some of the weak ones.  Your right they could of made it last a little longer and made it look better that it did.

I thought about that too. I know once Kozlov loses, he'll lose alot more than that match. He'll get pushed down to a jobber or something. I don't want to see Kozlov lose, because I'm actually a fan. Yeah, now Umaga seems easy to beat once you find his soft spot.

Yeah - he and Katie Lea seemed for a moment there that they were going to get Kofi and Mickie's titles, but then they lost that match and have gone back down to only wrestling occasionally and losing to boost other stars.

I agree with you. They don't exercise their talents or utilize them as much as they should.

Wrestling is a fickle business. It's a business where the established superstars who can't wrestle (I'm looking at you, Cena) continually get pushed, while the talented superstars such as Paul Burchill, MVP, Shelton Benjamin etc. are left wallowing in their shadows.

WWE makes such glaringly obvious mistakes week in, week out. Look at Hornswoggle. That gimmick became stale after about 2 minutes, but still WWE will not relent. I used to like Finlay as a wrestler, but I can't stand to watch him win by that midget's "shenanigans" anymore. He's gone from being one of the stiffest brawlers in the company to being a comedy character.

But, I digress, things like this will continue to happen until someone in WWE realises what's going on. Talented superstars like Jamie Noble and Rhodes and DiBiase will continue to be squashed by c**p wrestlers like JBL and Khali, the ECW championship will remain pointless, and the Tag Team championships will grow increasingly pointless. And bafflingly, the WWE kills off the cruiserweight championship....and replaces it with another Women's belt! What the h**l?! No one wants to see divas in anything other than bikini contests really, because there are about 5 divas who can actually wrestle (Mickie James, Melina, Beth Pheonix, Natalya and Katie Lea), and the rest are c**p.

What a shame.....

You answered your own question.  It's all "story lines".  There's no fighting, there's no wrestling, there's no "dominating", there's no "better".

It's all by the script, the stupid, low intellect script.  It's whatever the marketers decide will sell.

It just proves the point that WWE misuse most of the high rising superstars and settle for the guys and girls who've been in wwe for years at least TNA use there superstars fairly

I have to agree. It made me sick watching Paul Burchill job, he is better then Batista, just because Batista has bigger muscles and has more fans, doesn't mean he has to win every match. Paul Burchill should be IC champion right now not Santino Marella. It's not fair how WWE make fantastic wrestlers job just because they haven't got muscles like Batista.

As for Katie Lea, I hope she doesn't become a Jillian... i mean jobber, Like i said It's not fair how they make all the wrestlers job just because they don't look like Kelly Kelly... They deserve better, Jillian should be womens champion, so should Katie Lea.

Edit - As a matter of fact Jillian should a 4 time womens champion right now.
