is midnight sun after breaking dawn? or was it berfore breaking dawn? some body please help me understand this. is

Midnight Sun is basically Twilight written from Edward's point of view.  It covers the events in Twilight, so it's before Breaking Dawn.

A 'Midnight Sun' is attributed to the North Pole of our globe of Earth.

At times during the rotation of the Earth around the Sun, the 'tilt' of the Earth on its axis exposes the North Pole to radiation from the Sun during the 'nighttime hours' being "counted" in the lower portions of the Earth as nighttime.  Oh, it is such a wonderful and awesome work of God Almighty in {His} Creation of everything we know *Anything* about and, probably, everything we might know *Nothing* about!

Wait lets stop and think about this... the sun... during the middle of the night... seems kind of paradoxical since night is the absence of the sun.
