people can only spend like $200 on back to school stuff? I'm in college now, and I don't back to school shop anymore, but I see how much prices have inflated over the past couple years, and I'm like..wow, how can you get your WHOLE back to school list on only $200? That amount of money now a days, would only get like 2-3 shirts and a pair of jeans? How do you guys do it?

  1. If you only have that amount of money, you go bargain shopping. Look for Clearances and discount stores. Surprisingly, you can find lots of good stuff.

  2. Stop buying designer clothes and buy used pants and shirts. If you have to be wearing expensive stuff you will have to go with just a few things.Sorry bout that!   We are poor and do not care or feel sorry for snobs and that is not calling you a name just a social status!

  3. Idk....i usually spend 700$ and then buy 3 outfits or so a month

  4. Because you still have your clothes from last year too. When school starts again all your clothes don't just disappear..

  5. idk i have like 10 times more than that

    TJ MAXX??

  6. wear last years ****... why do you need fancy close to learn .. when you get out of school then worry about your pants and hand bag... i had NOTHING growing up ne to me was hand me downs from strangers..... back to school good lord.. just go to school

  7. Seriously? 2-3 shirts and a pair of jeans? You are crazy.

Granted, you COULD spend $200 on 2-3 shirts and a pair of jeans, but you definitely don't NEED to. Those of us who aren't just rolling in cash have to budget, buy clothes that are easily mixed and matched, bargain shop (either sales or stores like Target and F21) and not be completely s****..

  8. depending on where u shop, i just got 5 pairs of jeans, that look great, at pennys for $85. and i got six  shirts fromvariouss places like 2 from pacsun, 4 from charoltte russe for all for $100. it depends on where you go and if you think u could find the same thing at some place else for cheaper then do it, ur only saving money for your self.

  9. Its hard but I just buy cheap stuff and use my old clothes & mix and match

  10. u should ask that in the finance section.

  11. i dont spend that much... my school supplies alone were only 6 dollars... and i got everything i need... like 3 binders, folders, pens, and all that other stuff....but i went to Wal Greeens and they had one heck of a sale... plus i shop clearance...most of my clothes are name brand..but i didnt pay name brand prices for them.. and i also go to good will...they have like brand new jeans for 3 to 4 dollars... and i get creative with things...i took some of my moms old clothes and made them to fit me..they look cute too!.its not hard to live on a tight budget you just have to shop smart...i got a pair of actual converse from HT for 10 dollars! and they were great shoes...my favorite pair ever!

ive gotten 2 pair of brand name jeans from Salvation Army thrift store for 3 dollars total because they were having a sale on them too...i didnt know it at the time but they were!

i mean i do have some shirts that i paid like 20-25 dollars for from hot topic...but usually i dont buy things that are that price!
