  1. Easy.

    Simple too.

    Look in the real world.

How many hand do we have?

    What are we chasing?

The great American dreams of puff the magic dragon?

    That poof into thin air?

Shrivel up into smokes and ashes in time?

Not on needs but on wants?

Then hit the street "Look  never have an opportunity in my life time"

With " My life is so miserable in time"

With lost sense of direction and purpose of life in time.

When the streets is paved with golds.

  2. The banks helped cause it more than anyone, and an ex-city worker who has just written an expose book on the city seems to confirm it.

  3. watch the documentary zeitgeist & it gives a small veiw on the federal reserve system also aaron russo's prison planet & some of ron pauls speeches to congress on youtube very educational & shocking

  4. Economic problems are in many countries, including recessions beginning, the worst since the 1930s, likely even worse, and housing market failures which began in the US. Part of cause is greed, lending to americans who cannot afford the pay a mortgage, less so in UK, part is narcisism, spending more than we make which like before leads to credit crunches, the biggest cause is depopulation, the world's population is peaking and will decline so free market will fail as they depend on every increasing world population. The dirty 30's are coming back.

  5. Our economy is having problems right now because of a few issues, but at the forefront is the fact we have fought a war for the first time in American history without raising taxes or war bonds to pay for it. The war has destroyed the value of our dollar as we invest more and more money into it, with nobody to pay for it. Katrina was another disaster that we tapped into funds that weren't available to pay for repair and recovery. This and the fact that Bush's tax cuts did nothing to stimulate the economy and everything to create more debt for the country to deal with. When you owe a lot of money as a country and the budget isn't balanced the terrible deficits cause the dollar to be sharply in decline. When the dollar is weak the middle class suffers, doesn't help either when a substantial amount of people's income goes into the gas tank and oil burner as prices are 4 dollars a gallon.

Look at the national debt as a credit card. When you're paying your monthly payments on time the deficit goes down. When you're continuing to borrow and never paying back the deficit goes up. Our monetary system is weak, the economy is weak, unemployment is up.

  6. 90% goes to your second choice. The Government are trying to blame their irresponsibility on world events. Only buy 10% of it.

  7. The Subprimes (mortgage for house loans) in USA have triggered off a big bank crisis, not only in the States but also in banks in Europe, Russia, China, Japans, etc. who shared these loans.

Apart from this factor, there is also the big increase in oil prices that implied many fluctuations in gas-, food-, energy- quotations.

An immediate consequence of this situation is the increased redundancy leaving many workers idle with many families poverty-stricken.

  8. World events AND New Labour I think.  A bit of both.

Altho I have never heard it mentioned, I`ve been wondering if OIL is being used by the nations that hate us, to `bring us down`.   If you want someone to die of thirst, turn off his tap!

Modern economies run on oil.  The oil producing countries have almost total power and control. It just makes you think.

But Britain began losing its cutting edge years ago anyway.  Try to find anything `made in Britain` today  - you`ll find it difficult.

  9. New Labour have squandered this country's wealth on asinine schemes of bureaucracy. It's almost a cliche to say policemen can't do policing because they're filling in so many forms, teachers can't teach because they have so many targets to meet, the NHS computer is a joke, the ID card scheme is an expensive white elephant, Northern Rock was a £50 billion c**k-up. The economy is collapsing, sterling is in freefall, the family silver has been sold so will the last person to leave please switch off the lights.

  10. I'm not going to bother with an explanation into the failings of this government as they are self evident. To say it's the rest of the world that's at fault is pure fantasy. America might be in trouble but no where near as much as we are.

  11. it is all caused by mismanagement.
