Feb 16 : start spring semester

    April 10-17 : off week

May 29: Dies academicus (academic day in Latin)

    May 29: end spring semester

    Exams:

Each Faculty fixes its own exam sessions in the following periods:

    August 18 -Sept. 6

    Jan. 9-31

    June 8 - July 4

    August 17 - Sept. 5 2009

    Holidays (you can understand that)

From what I understand, vacances scolaires vaudoises means Holidays in the Vaud canton (in which is Lausanne), so I guess you would have no school, but I'm not sure.
