What does this mean?

The case below was dismissed on 08/06/08 in Part SAP-D and was sealed pursuant to section 160.50 CPL.

No appearance in court is required regarding this matter.

Do I have to go to court or no?

This is all that the letter says.

  1. Pretty straight no you don't need to appear as this was dismissed and sealed.

  2. no court appearance is required

  3. hello! it truth if you must go but is not investigated, but reason why there is not necessity to go but asesorate so that it does not pass anything! greetings young!

  4. Hello Chamaka. Disregard the "persons" above telling you horror stories. Your letter basically means that the charges against you were considered invalid for any prosecution, the entire case against you is completely dismissed and you are having the arrest record and court record of the entire event sealed so any background check done by an employer in the future will not see anything that happened.

You can literally forget it ever happened.

Best of luck and  I hope this is useful to you

  5. No appearance in court is required regarding this matter seems to explain it straight and to the point.

  6. Dismissed means over and done with no court

  7. You're good to go

  8. no its over

  9. "no appearance in court is required..." That's not good.  It means you will go to jail without going to court.  You best get a ticket to Europe and make it one way!!
