I don't understand this?

Question

Why do people have to beat up the poor animals, while dip them in boiling hot water alive? Cutting off their beaks and all. Why can't they just make it quick and painless?

I'm a vegetarian, I don't think they should be killed at all. But if they are still gonna kill them, then why not make it less painful/bloody for the animals?

I know, it's sad. For some reason torturing them like that is cheaper. I think just letting them graze and be free for their life, then just get the pain done with quickly is the best way. Or better just not kill them! How is making them suffer and keeping them in factories cheaper? I just don't understand.

I do not think that I beat up the poor animals, while dipping them in boiling hot water alive while cutting off their beaks.  And neither does anyone else make a habit.  Just because some one filmed it does not mean it is the norm.  With no time dates, blurry faces, names of slaughter house and no complaint filed it is my opinion that these film clips might very well be staged for someones agenda.

Most people don't even consider animals anything more than food or something they can make money off of.  People don't care about the pain they go through.  www.meat.org changed my life.  Many people watch that and don't care.  I don't know how anyone could watch that movie without crying.  I cried a lot.  I agree with you and that is why I will NEVER eat meat ever again.

because treating them like c**p is cheaper...that is the only reason. they could live on a farm, graze, and actually act like animals. it is greed, they dont even bother to use pain killers.

There's sickos out there, and it ultimately comes down to money. Letting the animals live takes up more space, and means more money spent, by buying better food, medicine, space, etc. So they condense them into the factory farms more animals=more money. And the more animals they kill, is the more they produce, is again, more money they're making. Their job is to create DEAD animals for consumption. And they do it, with as little cost, time, and effort as possible.

It's absolutely heartbreaking though, and I wish they'd atleast do it humanely, as well.
