I don't understand this situation?

Alright...I know life isn't about money but...

How come a guy who plays football for a living makes more than my father?

Now my father works 6:45am-8:30pm M-F (((He is a cardiologist))) and at time he will be called at anytime of the day to save someones life. Like 1, 1:30, 2, 2:30, 3, 3:30, 4, 4:30, 5, 5:30, and sometimes he doesn't sleep cause of how long the procedure is on nearly a everyday process including Saturday and Sunday.

Once again I understand Life is not about money I believe in the last words of Bob Marley, "Money can't buy you life" But how does someone who plays football or basketball for a living make 5 x the amount my dad does on saving peoples lives and he fixing Gods creations.

I just really want to know why?

see a football player gets like a few cents from each fan that shows up. Your dad gets a few thousand or many thousand from each person that he treats. You should take some time and figure out how to leverage your dads skills so that 30 cardiologists are paying him a lil bit each time they see a patient. Then he will work less and get paid more. (would you rather have 100% from one persons efforts or 1% of 100 peoples efforts. Stop complaining and do something. I can seriously point you to 2 med students who bought more than 5 hospitals and made hundreds of millions.

Because the person playing games for a living is putting money in the team owners pocket by garnering fans.  The same reason that the football team at school gets more funding than the chess team, or the tennis team, or the soccer team.  Because that's what people pay money to see.  It isn't right.  I mean, come on.  If we wanna talk about that, let's talk about the c**p pay that teachers make, when they are entrusted with EDUCATING our kids?  There isn't really an answer for this that will satisfy anyone.  It's just.... the truth.

because this world is f*cked. everybody scams you out of money and everything. Take yours and overcome everyone. every man for himself. And i bet they make more than 5 times what your dad makes, or youd be ridiculously rich too.
