I don't understand why people sale really cheap CDs on amazon?

How are they able to make any profit when they sale their used CDs for 50 cents each? It doesn't make sense.

takes up too much space in the house sometimes. want to get rid of it, but nobody wants to buy it at a decent price. so in desperate measures, they sell it for 50 cents. i havnt seen these CDs yet, but hey, their junk, your gain.
