What are the factors for the number 87?

I'm only 10 years old and I dont even know why my previous teacher from 5th grade put me in an honors class when I'm not that smart!

Well, your teacher put u in honors class because she or he knows u are smart as you said,' u don't wanna be stupid' It means you also thinks that you are smart. So don't worry neither your teacher or you wrong.

You don't have to be smart before your class starts, you just have to want to be smart. Check some rules for factoring. Here are some: if a number is even, 2 is a factor, if the digits add up to a number divisible by 3 then the whole number is too. If the number ends in 0 or 5 then its divisible by 5. Seven you just have to divide by 7 and do it the old fashioned way.Add the digits and if they are divisible by 9 so is the original number.  If none of those work then go on to 11 and 13 and the rest of the prime numbers.
