  1. I dont think you really can... maybe if you tell htem not to, and then just check on history if they have...if they have, then just punish them again.. until they stop?

  2. On IE you go to tools -> internet options -> Security ->restricted sites -> sites and then type in the address of the website

  3. Let them use the computer then check the history then if they go on it punish them.

  4. YOU WANNA DELETE A WEBSITE FROM YOUR  COMPUTER - WTF?

  5. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm tech then a leson and then bloke it call hte computer man then he will tell u how

  6. You can't delete websites from your computer every single website you can access from your computer. You have to block them first by going to tools at the top of your screen (while online of course), click internet options, The box that will open will have a list of tabs at the top general security, privacy, ect. click the 2nd one (security) Then click the icon that says resricted sites and you should beable to type in the sites you do not want your children on.

  7. Umm...You cant delete a website from your computer...

  8. well you can't delete it from your computer but if you Google free filter you might get some freewere to use but be careful to check where you download it from and your kid if they are smart might find a unblocker site but if there under the age of 14 then i doubt they will know what it is.

and don't all ways go by there history it can be deleted!

  9. You don't

Websites are NOT on your computer, they are on other computers that your kids are accessing (web servers).  You cannot delete them yourself.

There are tools that will block your computer's ability to access certain websites.  Net-Nanny and other like that can filter web traffic and block sites that you designate.

  10. You can't "delete it" from your computer, but you can block access to it from your computer.  I'll just assume you have Windows, not a Mac or Linux.

A cheapy way to do it is:

    Click Start

    Click Run

In that box, type "notepad C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" (without the quotes) and click Ok

In the file that comes up, type:

    0.0.0.0       www.thewebsiteyouwanttoblock.com

and save the file.  Obviously, substitute the real name of the website.  They will no longer be able to go to that website using that name.  But they could omit the "www" or figure out it's IP address (such as 123.45.67.89) and get there that way.  The former can be fixed by adding

    0.0.0.0     thewebsiteyouwanttoblock.com

to the file.  I doubt your kids will figure out the latter.

A better option would be to block access to it using the setup interface of your router/firewall/wireless access point.
