I don't want my pet anymore, suggestions?

I have recently got a dog off someone, it just isnt suited for my family and cats.

I live in New Zealand and need to rehome him ASAP. What are some suggestions?

I have looked at the SPCA website but couldnt find a section where you can give them your pet for rehoming.

well actually go to animal places and but them for adoptions ..!!

thats what i am gonna do with my cute hamster :(

i have to cuz  its 150$ for each in the tickits :(

You'll probably have to find an individual shelter and find out their policy. From what I understand, the SPCA is an organization that does have shelters, but to surrender a dog to them, you have to go through the shelters, not the main organization.

Also, what breed is the dog? You might also want to check for breed rescue groups in your area if the dog is all or mostly one breed.
