Go to the group's  site, click on edit membership along the top.  In the next window scroll down and tick leave group Click save changes and you should be out.  It may take a day to take effect.

There is an option there if you want to be removed from a group.

Best to 'edit my profile' .

Make everything 'hidden' from Public view.

Also tick boxes that you do not want contacts/ fans.

No mail and all.

Then do not  come to YA.

Also you can delete account.

It is a long process. You can go to 'help' on top of pages. And you will get the rules.
