Well their trying to put me into this ILS class and its like a reading support type of class. And I really don't want to. So I tried to tell my counselor that I didn't want to. But she told me I had no choice. But I think I should have a choice? Cause being in ILS is NOT a required class in highschool. And I really think It should be my choice whether I want to be in ILS or not. Yeah and my dad said he doesn't want me to be in that class. So If I have my dad talk to my counselor about it, do you think theirs a higher chance they'll not put me in that class?

  1. Do you want to be successful in school or not? Do you want to go to college or a trade school? Do you want a job that pays more than minimum wage?

    Yes- take the class

No - Get your dad to talk to them.

  2. If both you and your dad agree then perhaps you should go into the school and tell them how you feel. But, will the class help you improve your reading? If it helps to improve reading then maybe it might be worth going to the class.
