I'm currently starting my second year of uni soon, and one thing to consider is a work placement year. I don't want to do a work placement year, if it involves moving like 700 miles away. I will do one if it is local, but if involves moving away alone, not knowing anybody to live alone in a flat (isolation) for a year. I think i would just bemiserablee and couldn't stand it. Know what i mean? What would you do? Know of any stories? Thanks.

  1. you'll make new friends whereever you moce, so you wont be living in isolation

  2. well - you'll be doing that when you leave uni anyhow when you start work

i'd have loved to be offered work placements in my course, it really gives you the edge

take up the offer, you'll be fine and make even more friends
