I plan to fake sick tomorrow. Because that's when the appointment is. And who gives a c**p if I'm not in the yearbook?!?! I don't believe in pictures--they are superficial and support vanity. I don't support that kind of thing. And I don't want my picture taken. Is this unreasonable?

  1. Grin and bear it. (You may eventually come to regret not at least being mentioned in the yearbook, and if your picture's not in there, your name won't be, either.) We all change over time, so don't sweat the way you look now.

  2. I didn't go take mine at my appointment either, mostly because the school made my appointment for me and I had plans. I plan to take them later, I have a couple of months, but I'm am thinking about reconsidering. I wouldn't say its unreasonable, but pictures have other purposes than just vanity. They hold memories and for some might be the only pictures to remind themselves of there senior year.

or maybe don't want to remember it, its your call.

  3. I've been out of high school for over 30 years now and can say that while being in the yearbook wasn't that important to me at the time, I feel differently now. Those pictures are the only things I have left to remember my classmates by. I have not seen any of them since I graduated. I have never been to a high school reunion and don't live in the same area where I attended high school.
