Does it take a certain number of days? Hours? Minutes? What is the recipe for seeing Mickey Mouse in my room without having to take drugs? Is there a 3 minute meditation routine I can do? I want to see Mickey and Daffy and Donald too!!! THEY ARE MY FRIeNDS!!

  1. I suggest Lucid Dreaming, or "Astral Projection" there are numerous methods on the web for initiating these.

If you want to see them, with your eyes open and your full consciousness, then it would take a pretty long time to do it with out hallucinogens. In fact hallucinogens normally don't make you see things that aren't there - but distort the perceptions, and make it easier to see patterns that you normally don't see. If you were to close your eyes in a dark quiet room while on a hallucinogen, the your mind would start producing images (but if you want to see them in your room, you're mind must make the image of that as well.)

As far as I know jimson (sp?) weed is the only hallucinogen that keeps your visual perspective around and adds objects that aren't there.

What you need to do is this. Study the object. Look at every detail that you can possibly see, then reproduce it in your mind. Make the mental image as strong as it can possibly be. Add more than just visual input too, add smell, taste, the texture of their bodies. Do this until you can see/hear/taste/smell/feel in your mind as clear as if you were looking at a cartoon with them in it - colors sounds and all. Rotate it and examine it from all angles, and it in all different sort of positions.

Then open your eyes - look at a blank wall and try to summon up the image you can now create mentally, and superimpose that image on the wall. Rotate and examine it.

Once you see them on the wall, next try to do it beside you. Be especially careful to include the three dimensions as well as all of the senses. Make this image real. Try to hold this image around you until it will not go away. Make this image a constant companion. Be careful as this image might not ever go away again! I got this from a story of a monk seeking enlightenment. After the monk's image never went away, he became very concerned, because there it was in front of him as real as anything else - yet he knew that his mind created it. Then he became enlightened - I assume because he realized that it was his mind that was creating all of the images he saw - kind of a case against "objective reality" since the mind was able to create one object that wasn't there, but had all of the properties of a "real" object - who could say that all of the objects he assumed to be real were not also constructs of his mind.

    Time: months to years.

I also read in Modern Magick by Donald Kraig that after performing the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (which focuses hard on visualization) daily for months - little "ghosties" appear spontaneously - not sure whether you can control what it is you see, though.

  2. I can appreciate what you're after here.  However, by their very definition hallucinations are random and uncontrolled.  LSD and mushrooms will do it, but I've heard sensory deprivation tanks can too.  Do you have one of those laying around?

  3. You don't need to meditate.  Just don't go to sleep for a couple of days.  Trust me, you'll see all sorts of things....

  4. All you need is your mind.

This means meditating every day, and after a few months of consistent practise; it will happen. The mind will start retrieving images just out of boredom.

The mind generates small amounts of a chemical called DMT dymethyltriptamine (SP)

A shaman who is not able to do the work of a shaman unless he or she is not under the influence is NOT much of a shaman.

  5. take DMAE (vitamin) you'll have some very vivid dreams.

  6. you will have to use your imagination. nothing else will produce mickey mouse and friends

  7. Have you tried Blockbuster or Netflix?

Calm down. You just need some sleep and a trip to the Michigan basin which is circular to maintain your stability.

    Now, act that way!

By the way, Mickey and the gang are here with me and they send their wit and their kisses.

  8. Bruce J has it right, stress combined with lack of sleep for days will make you hallucinate. You will be seeing all sorts of weird and wonderful things.

Why you would want to begs the question though, might you need to seek help? Me thinks so.

  9. Enlightenment without a material aid.  Quixotic at best...

  10. there's no mimicking shrooms.

    :]

  11. meditation can take you MUCH farther than LSD or mushrooms ever could.  Mickey and Daffy are flat, 2 dimensional characters who do not interact with you.  there is no time limit.  it depends on you.  you may get there in 5 minutes, or it may take you 50 years.
