If you are a minor.. that is something that you'll have to discuss with your parents.

If you are an adult, you go to the court and petition to get it changed.

If you are a criminal, who is trying to hide.. stop by the police on the way to the courthouse.

If you are legally an adult you can change it. Just think very carefully before you do because that means making sure it is changed on all  sorts of records.  A college once LOST my transcript because I had changed my name.

Here in the UK you can call your self by any name you like as long as it isn't for fraudulent purposes. Deed poll can be dealt with at the register office now and will cost £40:00, and you don't need to go to a solicitor.
