I don't want to use the MSN Live Messenger, but whenever I try to use 7.0.0813 it won't let me sign in?

Question

Whenever I try to use MSN 7.0.0813, it says I need the newest version and won't let me sign in. Is there a way around this or do I have to use MSN Live?

(And yes I have used MSN Live, went back to MSN 7.0.0813)

then sign in MSN
