  1. It is very good for you to cry, it is a natural reaction your body uses as a release of emotions.

I do prefer to cry in private, but either crying in private or with someone I trust, I always feel better afterwards and have a much clearer mind.

Your family taught you wrong. They are wrong, and beating you says it all. They need locking up.

Things like this can cause emotional scarring, so any help should be welcomed. Bottling things up will drive you crazy, and will not solve problems.

Do you have anyone close to you who will listen to you and what is going on in your mind?

Talk to them, tell them you need someone to confide in that that you're hurting. You might cry, but it's ok.

  2. First off, if your parents' beat you, then you need to get help. Tell a teacher or call a hotline.

Secondly, there's nothing wrong with crying. You should realize that your parents have some issues if they're beating you. Crying is natural, and you can cry whenever you feel like it. Holding in your emotions is bad for you. It causes stress, and is just plain bad for emotional health. Crying is definitely normal.

  3. that is sad. if you need to cry just let it out...holding it in will only make it worse.

  4. I had the same thing in my childhood. I was told never to cry. Or "Stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about" The truth is that crying is a healty release of tension and stress.

When you hold in (repress) your feelings, you can give yourself headaches, or even an ulcer. It is better to talk about how you feel, or if you can't do that, write about it. Get your feelings out to someone, anyone who you trust.

Crying is o.k. it took me a very long time to learn that.

    Good luck.

  5. im sorry u were beat, yes, its completely normal to cry, if ur happy, sad, or just crying from laughter
