I dont get how to keep my feet up when im doing a breaststroke?

please show me what i can do to stop drinking soo much water, and show me what i can do to keep my feet afloat.

  1. you want to not let you head get so high when taking a breath. also extend your arms in the glide to make your feet rise some.


  2. 3 steps on doing the stroke.

    1, with your hands starting from your chest, push them forward in a streamlined position just before you start your kick.

    2, After step one, you will be in a streamlined position which will allow you to glide for less then a second before starting step number 3.

    3, Now that your in a streamlined position and your hands are out in front, pull them back in an almost heart shape with the point of the heart facing the direction you are going. When your hands are at the half way point of drawing the heart, start to raise you head and breath. When they reach your chest, thrust them forward and again, lower your head back into the water, and begin the kick just a mili second after you started pushing your hands forward. That completes the cycle!

    Yeah its pretty complicated typing it out, but if your drinking water, focus on breathing when head is completely out of the water, and to keep your feet from sinking, push your head back down when your done breathing as described above.
