like in flapjack everyone is human they just look weird but captain knuckles is the only blue person

  1. He's human.  The blue on his face is actually hair... fake hair, but it is hair.  (Think "Blue Beard" the pirate).  It may not look like it is hair, but this was actually explored in one of the episodes (the beard convention or festival)
