  1. Well, let's see... men have ed and we get the viagra and whateverelsetriestocompete ads.  I've yet to see an ad about female sexual drive, but I'm sure there is one.

Other than yeast infection, which I don't think is biologically prone to men, I see no other advertizing regarding those sorts of problems.

Well, besides the tampon ads.  Which, yet again, is not biologically prone to men.

  2. What annoys me is that they have adverts for vagisil, laxatives, thrush on at dinner time!!

  3. What are you watching on TV?  That's going to make a big difference.

I've noticed that some shows/channels run a lot more commercials for women's products on them than others. . . and they seem like they're things that women more often watch than men.  I hardly ever see those kinds of commercials if I'm watching some geeky documentary or sci-fi show -- that's where some of the male ads hide, though.

Oh, and men don't really *need* as much stuff as women do if you've not noticed this little tidbit of biology.  Sure, maybe things like Viagra are nice for some guys, but they're not quite as widely used as, say, basic feminine hygiene products are.

  4. thats because women buy into all this garbage that they think they need, and really....we dont. If you look at most things pricewise, everything is more expensive for women, and they know women will buy it. as far as the whole personal hygeine thing, i turn the channel when that c**p comes on. Men are very uninformed when it comes to the female body, so they think that its their job to correct us and "make us better". Most of that **** that they're adverstising is harmful to us and we shouldnt be using it.

  5. i don't get it either..

perhaps, women make a better market than men..

  6. A legitimate business advertising its product is nothing to be angry about. If you don't like it you can turn off the TV. Women just buy more personal products. That's all.

  7. Marketing of erectile dysfunction products and medications is estimated to be above $2 billion per year. That's a lot of male genitalia problems on TV.

  8. It's simple.  Marketing.  Vagisil, summers eve, and all those companies make lot of money of feminine hygene and other vaginal issues.  Men either don't have as many problems or wouldn't buy the products if they were advertised as heavily.

  9. Women buy more genital-related stuff than men.

If we all used home-made washable cotton menstrual pads we wouldn't have to watch so many adverts for 'feminine hygiene' products.

  10. Guys don't need pads, tampons , itch products, yeast infection products , summers eve ,or douche dear, get over it .

  11. A couple of reasons:

    1.  The television audience is overwhelmingly female - therefore, you market where your target audience is....

    2.  There are far more 'feminine hygeine' products than male counterparts....
