Not sure about you guys but it is reaching 100 degrees where I live or at least it LITERALLY feels like that. All week its been in the 90s so I have tried to stay in. At work it is SUPER cold b/c I work in a medical dept but when I come home, I am faced with the harsh HEAT. I sweat even with my fan on and window cracked. It is unbearably humid and feverishly hot.

I have an old fan that barely works and I still sweat unless I am sitting directly next to it, thats how hot it is!! Where can I buy a cooling system whether it be AC or a window AC etc for low cost? How much would it cost exactly? Thanks.

  1. 'An inexpensive cooling system'...hmm try this:  sleep in your bath tub.

  2. Walmart.

  3. Have you attempted to look on the site called Craig's List??

  4. You can buy an oscillating fan at Wal Mart for about $30. If you want to look into a window air conditioning unit, I know that Target has them for about $100. I know that's not cheap, but considering that you're feeling unbearably hot, it may be well spent. Avon sell self cooling pillows now that feel amazing in the summer time. They really do work! I have one.

I feel bad for you! Being hot is miserable. Good luck!

  5. I bought a window unit a/c at Sams recently for less than 100 dollars. Lowes and Home Depot have them too.
