I dont have a wirless icon on the bottom right hand of screen. how else can i search for available networks?

if you have one you should have installed the drive of this adapter and everything should work fine

Click on 'Start' then 'Networks' or 'Network Neighbourhood'

You can display the icon by enabling 'Show on system tray' on the connection properties dialog box

Do you have wireless lan card in your system????....if yes there will be a software install for same go to programs and check you will be able to find it there

Use some kind of wireless manager software to find them.

if you have a wifi adapter make sure it is enabled also make sure windows is set to control wifi not a third party program
