  1. Well, it can really depend. Beardies can be finicky somtimes w/ veggies. What I would do is offer veggies every day or every other day so they start getting used to them or start eating them so when they're older, they're eating the veggies more readily. The earlier you offer veggies, the better. Now if you don't have any crickets, there's nothing wrong w/ feeding them just vegetables. It all depends on how long you do this. If they're young, they could probably use the protein soon. You may also want to try juvenile rep cal bearded dragon pelets. This has necessary protein and other nutrients. So next time if you don't have crickets, you can just give them rep cal pelets. You can also feed them any other kind of insect like wax worms, super worms, even pinkie mice if they are big enough. If they're not eating anything, just keep offering the veggies each day and try to provide them some protein soon. There's nothing wrong w/ the peas and carrot. You may also want to give them some greens like collard or kale or even dandilions.

  2. Beardies should be offered salads from the time they are a few weeks old.  Keep offering the veggies....grate or chop them very fine if needed.  In the future, continue offering salads/veggies daily.  Beardies need more veggie matter than protein as adults anyway so you'll need to work on that part of their diet.

As long as your beardie is healthy, a few days without crickets won't hurt.

  3. Young beardies do not eat much vegie material.  They need a lot of insects each day.  You need to go get some crickets ASAP.  Don't forget to gutload the crickets first or else they are useless as food.
