  1. Look up "crisis" in the yellow pages, there will for sure be some listings of organozations or people that can direct you to a local place.

  2. look for "women's shelter" in the local phone book, or call the police station and ask if they can help you find a shelter

  3. I know it sounds strange, but call the local hospital. They will have the info on the best place for you to go that's not too far.  Good Luck

  4. You may want to check for a church in your area that is known for helping people in need.  Try typing "church" & your zip code on yahoo to start out with.

Also, you could call the nearest Salvation Army and see if they can help or recommend an agency that can.

  5. Go to social services in your area. You may need to stay in a shelter. It's not that bad for mothers with children. I'm so sorry, but you can qualify for many programs. Section 8, Food stamps, medicaid, etc...

It's gonna be a long haul. My advice to you is not to get advice from here!! Use this time online to find the various orgs that can help you.

I wish you the best of luck and pray that everything works out for you.

    Gluck

  6. Well depending on where you live...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women's_she...

has places and resources on where you can go.

Domestic violence hotline phone nubers and places here

    http://www.ndvh.org/help/help_in_area.ht... find your state

  7. call the crisis hotline in your area for assistance -the ER or local police will have the info.  friends and family are perfect for this type of problem -reach out and ask for help.  make better choices, get some counseling, and return to school to complete your education.

  8. call the police or search social services in the yellow pages. They can help.

  9. Your county should  have a Department of Jobs and Family Services website.  Either look up your states or your county's.  Just type in "Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services" in yahoo.  Use your state though.  They have links for everything from housing to shelters to food.  Also United Way has a hotline.  Its 2-1-1 its a "Call for Help hotline" its a nationwide thing that can help you right now.

  10. well, each state varies... without knowing specific knowlege of where you are it is hard to tell you exactly what to do, talk to a police officer, call the non emergency number, or if you can reach the Child Protective Services or a crisis center. One of those (if not all) will surely point you in the right direction.

May god bless you in the time of need.

  11. your best bet is to go to the police station and tell them your situation and they an help you find a woman's shelter that is all i know do it right  away and don't be scared to go good luck if you need someone to talk to email or IM me and i can help you btw where are you located?

  12. Try your local church, and don't forget to pray. I'll pray for u. Seems small but it does more than u may think.
