2000 Volkswagen Jetta GL Mileage: 79,325

1999 Nissan Altima GXE Mileage: 71,000

all in the same price range

i think the best choose is to buy the toyta cars because they save gas, but the car i think you should buy is the camery from toyta.choose wisely!

I would go with the altima.  As someone who works on my cars myself most of the time, I can tell you that if something breaks nissan parts are probably going to be less expensive than vw or saab. Plus it has the lowest mileage.
