I dont know how to make friend in my school?

hello everybody!! I have lived in Canada for 9 months , now I go to school , but its so hard for me to make friend with everybody ( Englsih and french, both of them are not my mother language) Im so shy to talk with the people around me... Even I dont know what I should talk about, Im an asian boy, in my school there are no many asian students... just about 4 students ( inclus me). i heard somebody told me that the students in here are very friendly and sociable, but I dont know how can I make friend with them. I dont know if they hate me... I know just a few people in there but just to say hello, hi... thats all... how can i get closer to them.Im really disappointed right now, so sad ...

Firstly!Don't try to be some one your not,just be your natural self.Maybe through your lunch break just go up & ask a group of people if they mind if you joined them.I am sure they will probably ask you about yourself so then you could discuss this differences in cultures & tell them how you would appreciate if they could help you with various situations & differences.The conversation will flow,absorb the people around you & in no time you will have yourself some really nice friends.I wish you all the best you sound like a really nice person, your fellow students will pick up on this too so that is your advantage.

Dont be sad just be yourself.  Smile and talk about things going on in school like activities, teachers, etc.  Try to attend social events at school to get to meet different people.  Once you start talking to people in your class on a regular basis you will find they become friends and you can chill with them after school.  You just need to relax and be yourself.

That's so sad! One way to get closer to somebody is just to compliment them, and start up a conversation, ask them where they got there shoes or whatever! I'm in the same position at school and I know its not easy but you just gotta do it! I hope this helped!
