I dont know how to use a microscope and im starting college and taking microbiology! help!?

im fresh out of high school, never used a microscope, and now im starting micro biology and dont know how to use a microscope! help me! i dont know what to do! everyone else in my class knew what to do and i had no clue! and this is an introductory class, so i assumed no one would know anything! what do i do? the professor looked at me like i was the dumbest person on earth when i told him i wasnt good with microscopes and he just walked off!!!!

Check out a couple of videos on YouTube. Don't feel dumb. Most people are clueless the first time they look in a microscope!

It depends on what kind of microscope.  Back when I was in high school they had the kind with the mirror below the plate which was used to refract light to the lens.  Now they probably use a light to shine it into the lens.
