I dont know if i have a uti or not?

it doesnt burn when i pee, but i feel a heavy weight on my bladder and the constant need to pee. i also feel this nagging persistant slight burn in my genetil area constantly. i have no pain in my lower back or sides whatsoever and i feel like throwing up. i cant eat anything and i've been drinking so much water that i've been peeing every 20 minutes or so.

I've also been feeling extremely tired all the time. I already got my perscription for a uti today and took one pill, but the doctor never did tests to make sure thats what i have. is there anything else i could have?

u do have uti..i was diagnosed with it but i heard dat it goes away though...n i kinda understand wat u talkin bout with dat back pain bcuz i've felt da same way with my ribs n everything..sumtimes my breathing feels like i have dust in my lungs....u shud go 2 ur doctor n find out wat's wrong..i'm gonna do da same.

your doc should have tested you. you can get an OTC uti test at the drug store. sometimes a cyst can put pressure on the bladder, you can also get these symptoms in early pregnancy. Lastly just having inflammtion in the bladder without an infection can cause uti symptoms. antibitoics shouldn;t be take unless its absolutely necessary

If your sexually active you need to take a pregnancy test.  Also if the antibiotic isn't working you need to revisit the doctor to test for an actual UTI.  Also if there is an UTI there are medications that will help with the pain/spasms your feeling with the urinating.  Hang in there I've had the same symptoms and I know there bad.
