  1. No - it doesn't have optical:

    [edit] It doesn't have any digital inputs at all - it won't accept converted optical either.  In other words, it will not work with your PS3 or 360


  2. No speaker has optical input. The optical input will be on Home Theater  Recievers etc.

No, you need something like the Logitech Z5500 (1st link) that accepts a digital input (although it may be a digital coaxial connector not optical, the two are equivalent and interconvertable).   An optical port and connector look like the picture at the 2nd link. A digital coaxial looks like a standard RCA jack, but is usually colour coded ornage (and will be labelled appropriately). If necessary, you can convert an optical to a digital coax connection, or the reverse using a device like that at the 3rd link.
