I dont know wat to do :(:(?

Question

well i have picked my gcse's and they are perfect but then my singing teacher told me tht i shud have picked music and if i dont wont get in the singing buissness:( i do want to but another thing is tht i would only have my class with him which i wouldnt like and also my music teacher gave me a C for an overall grade for the year which i was like :O so i dont know wat to do pick and have classes on my own :( or leave it and have my fave classes and less work :( HELP!!

you can always do singing classes outside of school. It is better do things you are good at and enjoy so you have more of a chance of getting good grades when you have finished them.

do gcse music out of school, with a different teacher.... home schooled kids do it why cant you ..

You always need a "Plan B."  That is something to fall back on.  An english class would be of assistance to you.

Really do NOT take music gcse. Unless you are exceptionaly good at composing. I almost took it but changed my mind last minute. Thank god. But my friends took it and they are always complaining about the amount of coursework. You can take it on out of school or later on in life. But for the time being, i really wouldn's. to be honest gcses really arent that important and most colleges/employers wont look at what exact ones you took just that you took them and how many you passed ie C or above etc. although Alevels are more important and can be looked at later in life so if your fixed on a career in singing it might be best to have an Alevel in music which you can only take if you have done the gcse so its a bit of a dilemma. depends if you just want to sing or do you want to write your own songs with the music in which case you need to know how to read and write music. i think you need to get an opinion from someone outside your school as they might just be trying to boost numbers in the music department.

Well, i don't think that you won't be able to get into the singing business if you don't take music. Keep your subjects, and maybe sing after school, or join some sort of singing club? lol.

BABY BLUE DO WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY THAT`S THE BEST WAY TO LIVE IF YOU GOING TO MAKE IT AS A SINGER YOU WILL MAKE IT REGARDLESS OF WHATEVER CLASSES YOU DO OR DO NOT TAKE.
