I dont know what kind of system i should put in my 2001 chevy extended cab?

i really dnt kno much that has to do with anything for a car system. this is my first car and i already dont like the stalk system i would like to have the thump sound of the bass. any suggestions from anyone with a chevy s10

When I had my S10 I had a kicker comp truck box that worked great for me.  It kicked and I was still able to use my extended cab to put stuff in when I needed to.  Do a search for S10 forums and you will find everything you need from custom audio to direct drop-ins (stuff that will fit without modifications).  Good luck and enjoy your S10!
