  1. If you are not allowed to play volleyball, you could ask your coach if you could be a student manager or work the matches. You might even get paid to work matches. Good Luck! :]

  2. Get an opinion from a different doctor and maybe try to get a brace that will help otherwise I'm not sure.

  3. Was the doctor saying it was fused together? If so, I think that you have what I have. It makes your feet hurt really bad and sometimes you can barely walk after you've been lying down or sitting down. You can get surgery done on it if you have the same thing I do. Both of my feet had it, and now they're fixed.

  4. Talk to a specialist on this issue. They might have a different recommendation than your doctor gave you. Their recommendation might be better than the other doctors, or it could be worse. But it's always worth it to get a second opinion. Also, think about yourself in the long run. Is it worth injuring yourself over, does volleyball mean that much to you that you might risk not being able to walk again, or walk correctly? Those are things you need to consider. And also, check some volleyball websites out and see if there's an ankle brace out there that can help your condition.

  5. Could playing volleyball create a long term issue? Is playing vball in school for a few years worth having a limp that lasts a lifetime? Even if you are REALLY good, you wont be able to compete in at a big level if you have an issue like that....
