I dont know what to wear with this? help please!?

I'm a freshman, and I wont lie, I like to dress up or so you can say for school. I got this cute denim vest from forever 21 but I don't know what to wear it with, would it look good with skinny jeans? because those are like denim too. I don't know I'm so confused.

Don't wear a denim top with denim bottoms its WAY to much denim

pair it with a dark pair of skinny jeans, black looks best with a denim vest because it wont be too much denim.

I wouldn't wear a denim vest with denim jeans. It's like wearing a jean jacket w/ jeans...fashion faux paus. I would wear it w/ khakis and a black tshirt.

Try to wear a simple purple blouse and pair it with khaki capris. As for your shoes, best wear rubbershoes that have little accents. I would also suggest that you wear long, striped, multicolored socks, i twould make you look cuter! And to finish it, tie your hair in pigtails. (this would give you a cute sporty school girl look) *but any hairstyle would do! :)

In Canada we have a joke where we refer to a full denim suit as the "Canadian Tuxedo". I've heard Americans call it the "lumberjack tuxedo". Even though denim on top and bottom was my father's favorite outfit for dressing up, I can't forget the old Canadian joke. Too much denim? I can't help but think of Tiffany's denim outfits from the 80's:

What about a non-denim mini or a brightly coloured pair of skinnies or pants that are the same cut as skinnies, but that aren't denim. I have a pair of black leggings with zippers on them, something like that would work. A rock t would look awesome with it all.

I think you should pair it with a pair of colorful or black skinnys with a short cute airy dress. And dont worry...im a freshie and i dress up too!

i think that it would look great wit skinny jeans! it doesnt matter if its both denim.. just get a really cute purse.. and some nice silver jewelry the long necklaces that are so in style now!! and u will look really pretty! u could also wear cute flats wit it! cute!
