i was wondering who were those people that were goin to attack bella in Port Angeles on chapter 8 in the first book Twilight?

were they vampires are just drunk men ..i didnt quite understand....

  1. They were just drunken men wandering the streets. I think they were going to hurt or rape Bella, or something. Thank goodness Edward came!!! <33333
